Refund Policy

1. Our Philosophy

At PixelPix Studio, we believe in delivering exceptional creative work and ensuring you're completely happy before you pay. We operate on a pay-only-on-satisfaction basis: payment is collected only after you’ve reviewed and approved the final deliverables.

2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancel Before Work Begins
  • You can cancel your project at any time before we start any design or development work.
  • Since no payment is collected upfront, such cancellations are fee-free.
  • We’ll document the cancellation but no invoice will be raised for unstarted work.
2.2 Cancel After Work Has Started (but Before Final Approval)
  • If you decide to stop the project after we’ve begun, but before finalizing deliverables, we’ll assess how much work has been done:
  • If only preliminary (conceptual) work is done and no usable design is delivered, you won’t be billed.
  • If significant work has been completed and shared, and you cancel for non-quality-related reasons, a reasonable charge may apply corresponding to the portion of work delivered.
  • If your cancellation stems from dissatisfaction, and even after revisions you feel the result isn’t right, you will not be charged.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 No Upfront Payment Means No “Refund” in the Traditional Sense
  • Since you pay only after you’re satisfied, there’s typically no need for a refund — you simply don’t pay if you’re not happy.
  • However, in rare cases (for example, if a design defect or major deviation from your brief is discovered after payment), we offer refund mechanisms to make things right.
3.2 When a Refund May Be Offered

Refunds are possible if:

  • Critical deliverables agreed in the contract are missing or unusable.
  • The final design significantly differs from the approved brief or previously agreed scope, in a way that wasn’t resolved through feedback.
  • There are technical issues in the deliverables (e.g., corrupted files, unusable formats) that we fail to fix after reasonable effort.
3.3 How We Calculate Refunds
  • Full Refund: If the entire agreed deliverable is flawed or not delivered, and we can’t correct it to your satisfaction.
  • Partial Refund: If part of the project is usable and acceptable, but some significant elements are faulty, we’ll refund a portion proportional to the problematic part.
4. Revision as First Step
  • You submit detailed feedback (what isn’t working, what you expected vs what you got).
  • We offer a limited number of revision rounds (as agreed in your project contract) to make improvements.
  • If after those revisions, you still feel the outcome is not satisfactory, then we evaluate refund eligibility.
5. How to Request a Refund or Cancelation
  • Request: Send an email to [your support/contract email] within 7 days of receiving the final deliverables (or within a mutually agreed period), explaining: Your project name or invoice number What is not meeting your expectations — be as specific as possible Any evidence: screenshots, comparison with the brief, etc.
  • Review: We will respond within 5 business days, proposing either: A plan for further revisions, or A refund (full or partial), if warranted
  • Agreement & Settlement: If a refund is approved, we will issue it via your original payment method (or an alternate agreed way) within 10–15 business days. We may ask you to agree in writing (email is fine) on the deliverables you’re returning or the reason for cancellation/refund.
6. After Final Approval & Payment
  • Once you explicitly approve the final design, and payment is made, we consider the project completed.
  • Refunds after that point are only for major, legitimate issues, not for preference changes, new ideas, or rework unrelated to original scope.
  • Minor stylistic suggestions or new feature additions after approval are not refundable — they fall under “change requests” and may be billed separately.
